02 What data we collect, and why

Payment for tutoring is made via invoice or Vipps. When paying with Vipps, Vipps AS processes the payment details as an independent data processor in its own right.
03 Students under 16
If the student is under 16, we assume the contact form and tutoring agreement are entered into by a parent or guardian on the student's behalf.
04 Who we share data with
Netlify (hosting and form submissions via Netlify Forms, as well as basic site statistics) is our data processor. Netlify's data processing agreement applies automatically via their terms: netlify.com/gdpr-ccpa. When paying with Vipps, Vipps AS is an independent data processor for the payment details. We do not otherwise share data with third parties.
05 Cookies and local storage
This site uses no cookies or local storage for tracking, advertising or analytics.
Exception: the statistics calculator (/kalkulator/) stores your own calculation history locally in your browser (localStorage), so you can find it again later. This is never sent to RubenMatte or any third party, and you can delete it yourself at any time with the Clear button in the tool.
06 How long we keep the data
Enquiries that do not lead to a tutoring relationship are normally deleted or anonymised after 6–12 months. Data linked to active or former students is kept for as long as necessary for the agreement, and for as long as bookkeeping obligations require for invoice/payment records.
07 Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, as well as the right to restriction, data portability and to object to the processing. Contact us at kontakt@rubenmatte.no.
